PowerSmart HD encoder-H10 has been successfully passed the real evaluation run by cable TV. During the evaluation, the input source is the MPEG2-TS Over ASI signal, the audio is AC3 encoding, which is transcoded by H10 encoder into the H.264-TS Over ASI signal with 8Mbps, after QAM modulation, accessing to cable television, and then is received through the set-top box. Through actual observations, the video effect is basically equivalent to that of the original MPEG2 video source, while the bandwidth is being greatly reduced, and we can see that H.264 encoding technology will powerfully boost the process of high-definition cable.
PowerSmart H10 supports multiple outputting HD, SD, mobile TV and other streaming with the same input source, which is also consistent with the high, standard definition broadcast and with the triple play market trends.
