2014-02-17

Recently, PowerSmart has officially released P12, the latest Portable Encoder. P12 has inherited the world’s leading video encoder technologies used by P11. Blessed with the rich experience in network video transmission control of the PowerSmart team, P12 has integrated multiple innovative technologies in multiple aspects, such as video encoding, 3G&Internet, multi-channel transmission, etc. Meanwhile, the product has also achieved many new breakthroughs in its overall industrial design.
P12 is currently the core product with globally leading technologies for the solution to 3G video live broadcasts. It can be widely applied to various sectors, such as news, entertainment, emergency, policing, electric power, and energy.

--P12 outputs high quality videos, particularly when video scenes undergo fast transitions. Through optimized processing, the quality of encoded video by P12 is better than the videos produced by other products of the same category in the industry.
--During the process of multi-channel video transmission P12 utilizes the internationally advanced network optimized transmission technology, which is able to realize the reasonable allocation and full utilization of all channels such as the 3G network and the Internet.
--Besides the SDI function (1, 4, 8 output channels available for allocation), the receiver of P12 can also directly output network video streams of a full variety of standards, such as RTMP and UDP-TS. This conforms to the tendency of video transmission over IP; meanwhile, it also helps reduce the overall costs of the system.
- -P12 is half the size of P11. Body dimensions: L 260mm, W 198mm, H 116mm.
- -P12 is powered by generic video camera batteries. It is able to work while charging. Battery hot swap is available.
- -P12 endures tests under tough conditions. It performs with stability when the temperature is between -35 degrees to 40 degrees Celsius.
